I'm sure most bloggers--holy shit, I'm a blogger now! --start their first post with some sort of touchy-feely "welcome" message. Personally, I don't think anyone's gonna read this but me, so this is the first test.
Screw the "welcome" message. I'm going with something different. "Get lost" can mean a few things...at least to me. I find that quite often, I feel lost and I'm thinking this may be me throwing out calls to others that may be answered and maybe they'll offer some assistance to help me "get found". Maybe they'll show up, agree with me, and find themselves as lost as me. Or, maybe they'll suggest I stay lost.
"Get lost" can also mean that one can abandon the trappings of everyday life and just head out on a different, more personal path. It can be easy to lose yourself in your own personal path.
Finally, "get lost" can mean, quite simply, piss off. And I'd love to affect someone enough that they told me that.
But that's all in the future. Let's see if anyone even reads this first.
